Conditions of use

Bespoke items payment terms

  • The order must be paid when completed. Payment: all remittance must be paid to Wabi Mokume in pounds sterling, dollars or euro where stated. We use Direct debit transfer and PayPal for payments, and will issue an invoice as proof of purchase. Commissions must have a material deposit paid in full before work is to start on the piece, equal to 50% of the final price. The piece will be completed in the given time-frame, where the customer must then pay the remaining amount before ownership. Wabi Mokume retains ownership of all pieces until the outstanding balance has been made in full.

Delivery of goods

  • Bespoke pieces are all made to order in our workshop. Wabi Mokume typically quotes 4-6 weeks for a finished piece made to order, ready for dispatching/collection. Work cannot start on a piece until 

Check, clean and polish service

  • All pieces of jewellery bought from Wabi Mokume are entitled to the free service every 6 months, to check the item for damage, securing any loose gemstones, and restoring the original finish.

  • Any requested early services will be charged £20 per item for the service. Any postage costs to/from Wabi Mokume must also be covered by the customer.

  • Posted items must be delivered via Royal Mail 24 hours Guaranteed delivery. Wabi Mokume does not take any responsibility for items lost in transit. Items in return will be posted back via Royal Mail 24 hours Guaranteed delivery. It is the duty of the customer to supply proof of postage, and give a valid return address.

Adjustment services

  • All purchased pieces of jewellery are entitled to be adjusted if fitting incorrectly. The first adjustment within 31 days of successful delivery/collection is free of charge. 

  • All rings purchased from us are entitled to one free resizing per piece, within 2 months of delivery/collection. Any subsequent sizings will be charged for, depending on number of sizings required. Please contact us for details.

Claims

  •  For any damaged or lost goods, all claims must be receiving in writing within 7 days from receipt

Copyright

  • Content on this website is protected by © laws and breach of copyright will be persued

Delivery costs

  • Delivery costs are included in the final price. International postage will be included accordingly.

Force majeure

  • Wabi Mokume and the maker, Gabriele Gucci, accepts no responsibility for delay, loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond their control

Returns and refunds

  • Returns are not accepted unless the product has a fault that was not due to misuse, accident, normal wear and tear or by not following the care instructions. All material deposits are non-refundable.

Images

  • Due to the nature of the internet, technology and resolution at which it renders images, our products may vary slightly in colour from the images displayed. Rest assured our products look even better in real life and we are confident that you will be delighted with our products.

  • Due to the nature of the technique employed, patterns and finishes will never be identical to samples shown on our website. Rest assured that this gives our jewellery a unique touch to every piece of jewellery

  • All customer details we take comply to the GDPR act of 2018.
